09/04/25 – New Haven, CT:  Pat LaFontaine was joined by representatives from Northwestern Mutual in Norwalk today to deliver a Lion’s Den Room for the patients at Yale New Haven Children’s Hospital. The room is designed to enhance the well-being of pediatric patients by offering a welcoming, interactive environment that encourages collaborative healing.

Chris Andricopoulos, managing director of the Norwalk office said, “this is Northwestern Mutual’s goldNMoments Day which signifies a national moment of recognition for the stories of resilience, community impact and progress being made toward a future without childhood cancer. We are proud to provide a resource to our community that will have a profound impact on our are employees and customers.”

Former NHL star Pat LaFontaine noted that this was the group’s 21st interactive Lion’s Den delivered. He said, “we have been working with Yale New Haven on and off for 15 years to make this happen. We are delighted that the stars aligned now. It’s always been our belief that no child in the fight for life or health should ever go through it alone. This dynamic new space will ensure that will never be a concern in New Haven.”
